June 12-13 Sauk River We floated the upper Sauk from Bedal to Whitechuck, then ran the middle Sauk from Whitechuck to Bachman park.
I keep getting comments about there being no rapids on the rivers I run. There are, really! I'm just kinda busy when I'm in the rapids and can't take pictures.
Today, Sherry is riding with me and taking the pictures.
The Upper Sauk is an easy class II run. A pleasant float with great scenery.
Down to day 2
Please be patient while the pictures load...

Ready to launch at Bedal.

I'm ready! Are we going yet?

It's a hot day. Bill cools off in the shade next to a small cascade.

Willie likes to test the scents on the wind.

Verification photo: It really is me on these trips!

After we stopped for the day, I took a short walk along the Whitechuck river.

This bridge over the whitechuck replaces the one that washed out in 2003.
Whitechuck.
Day 2 we run the Middle Sauk, a bouncy class III section of the river.

On the river again!
